Keith Caldwell Received standing O at Agape Fest

The weekend of June 25 &-26 was very busy for Keith Caldwell. He was attending 2 venues at once. He arrived in Dallas on Friday, June 25th to attend the TX Christian Songwriter's Assn Conference held in Arlington, TX at the baseball park just in time to sign in and get his room arrangements taken care of before running over to Granbury, TX to sing on the program for the Agape Fest awards. The Agape Fest Awards are hosted every year by radio station KNGR. KNGR was the brainchild of Bob Wilson, country music's legendary DJ who helped some of the biggest names of the 40's - 60's get their start. Names like Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Elvis Presley. Since Bob's death 2 years ago, his widow Glorya has been carrying on the tradition. Since Keith was a top 5 nominee, he was scheduled to sing on Friday and chose his latest release, "It's My Duty to Pray" as his song for the evening. He received a standing ovation for his performance of the song. Immediately following, he left to return to Arlington where he spent the rest of the weekend in seminars and performance. He leaves on Sunday, June 27th to go to CGMA convention in Branson, MO where he will be hobnobbing with the likes of Micki and Gene Farington of the Country Gospel Connection and several others. He will return to Houston after the 4th of July weekend for a week to finish co-writing 2 more projects with his writing partner, Clay Howell for 2 other artists before beginning his summer tour and workshop series in Alabama.

Lyrics for Songs by Keith Caldwell & Clay Howell Added to IndieHeaven

As of today, every song listed on IndieHeaven, now not only has notes on how or why the songs were written and by whom, but each one has the lyrics attached in the information area. For those of you who have been asking for this for awhile, HERE IT IS!!! JUST FOR YOU!! Our Webmaster is also working on adding the song notes and lyrics to our other major Websites.

We realize that sometimes, the lyrics can be so special to some people that they have Emailed us saying they were searching for our lyrics and couldn't find them. Well, now we know where to send them. And if they want to print them out, now it is just a matter of cut and paste into a document and print.

We are happy to be able to offer you another method of receiving a blessing from the songs of the ministry of KCCH Music.

New Worship Album Released

Keith Caldwell and his songwriting partner, Clayton B Howell have just put the finishing touches on Keith's newest release, a worship album. Entitled, Come to the Altar, it is a 14 song CD that has something for everyone on it. From the slow and haunting "One" to shades of the 70's Mo-Town groups on "You Whisper Peace to Me", to the grandly sweeping vista of "Take Me to the Throne Room", there will be something that you will like on this album. This particular project is more laid back than Keith's first 2 and is something you can put on your CD player or Ipod and just meditate with.

Come To The Altar is featured on IndieHeaven and is also available in the KCCH Music Online Store.
